The 'Everything' Seasoning

You guys. This seasoning is EVERYTHING!
...See what I did there?! ;)

There's not a bagel I enjoy more than the Everything Bagel. The Asiago is a close second, but there's something about all of the different flavors in the Everything Bagel . I specifically enjoy mine toasted with a little chive and onion cream cheese.

My love for this combination started at a little spot right outside of where Dane worked in Clayton. A nice fresh bagel, toasted, on a cool crisp morning always started my day off just right! I think it's because of that setting that I felt inspired to right this post. Fall is quickly approaching and I am beyond excited!

I think my ideal Fall day would go like this:

First, I'd enjoy a nice toasted Everything Bagel with Chive and Onion Cream Cheese out on the deck with my Mocha Latte. Then I'd open up all of the windows, light a few Fall scented candles, the house would be clean of course, a nice meal would be cooking in the crockpot for lunch, and I'd spend the afternoon snuggling next to an open window with Lenna and Harlow. The bigger dogs would be at my feet.

Then sometime around dinner, I'd have a glass of red wine while Dane fired up the grill. I don't even care what he makes because everything tastes good with the smokey flavor from the Big Green Egg! After dinner, we'd have a bonfire, and enjoy each other's company with the crickets in the background, until it was time for bed.

Pretty amazing, right?! I'm interested to hear what your favorite season is and what your ideal day would look like. I can't be the only one who has thought out their ideal day!

Okay, let's get onto the reason we're all here. The Everything Bagel Seasoning you can make right at home! It's super simple and tastes good on more than just a bagel.

Ingredients:
1/2 tbsp finely ground sea salt
1-1/2 tbsp dried minced garlic
1-1/2 tbsp dried minced onion
1 tbsp black sesame seeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and use whenever you'd like, on whatever you'd like!

I know you're not completely shocked at how simple that was. I mean, it's just seasoning. I put all of mine in a seasoning shaker just to keep on hand, but you could of course use it all immediately if you'd like.

Okay, that's it for today. I'm off to make more of my Fall favorites!

Xx Heather
