You guys. Christmas is in TWO DAYS! Luckily, this year I was on my A Game, and was able to finish shopping in time, wrapped my presents on time, AND have the food I'm bringing to each event prepped and ready to start baking! I'm really not sure who I am these days. Never mind the fact that I still have no idea what i'll wear. Last minute outfit prep will never change, and i'll most likely always paint my nails in the car on the way to our destination And of course I forgot one of the most important details -cookies for Santa. Our plans tomorrow for Christmas Eve will start early and end late, so there's no time to bake cookies for Santa. I needed something quick. I found this recipe over at The Frugal Girls and couldn't resist. It's super easy and looks SO ELFING FESTIVE, Santa will never knew you forgot about him. You can find the details of this recipe here. But please know that even though this recipe is stupid easy, I'm cheap and only bought what was absolutely necessary. For me, I already had mints on hand, so I just took all of my holiday stress out on these poor little guys (like, Dang it Susan! Figure out your Starbucks app pay BEFORE you get to the window! I've got cookies to bake this evening!) and they turned out to be exactly what I needed for this recipe. It's probably best you don't let your children watch that last part, but I DO suggest letting them taste test the first cookie before serving to Santa. I mean, someone has to make sure they're worthy, right?! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from my home to yours! xo Heather
